T1 officially announces that Park "March" Tae-won will be joining the organization as Head Coach to replace cCarter. March was released from TNC Predator after over a year with the organization due to lack luster results. His departure from the organization was highly criticized by Kyle Freedman, pointing out another organization kicking their captain due to a couple core players “phoning it in”. T1 currently is still missing an official position 1 after Meracle parted ways with the organization.
March joins T1 as head coach
TNC was able to win 2 ESL One events and the MDL Chengdu Major under the leadership of March, initially putting them at the top of the 2019-2020 DPC Season before it’s eventual cancellation due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Historically March is most known for his TI5 run under MVP Phoenix, coming through the Wild Card bracket, and defeating the defending Champions Newbee in the first round of the lower bracket.
