Royal Never Give Up announced they were trading Setsu and September for FelixCiaoBa and 白学家 from Sparking Arrow Gaming. Setsu and September had been with the team during their second place finish at the WePlay! Bukovel Minor, their first place finish at the ESL One Los Angeles 2020 - Online: China, and their third place finish at the China Dota 2 Professional League Season 2. FelixCiaoBa and 白学家 join the team off of some very inconsistent results with Sparking Arrow Gaming, having won BEYOND EPIC: China, but placing last in both ESL One Birmingham 2020 - Online: China and OGA Dota PIT S2: China. Previous to that, 白学家 had a brief stint on Royal, RNG's former secondary team, and FelixCiaoBa used to play for WarriorGaming.Unity.

RNG also announced that the former team manager/coach of the now banned Newbee would be joining their team as coach. Banana was not found guilty as part of the match-fixing scandal from the China Dota2 Pro League Season 2, and DPL-CDA Season 1, which had his former team banned from all future ImbaTV, Mars Media and CDA events.
