Neon Esports has had quite some success in recent events. In the last month, Neon Esports was able to qualify for the ONE Esports Dota 2 SEA League, for which they currently hold the 5th place spot in the groups. They took home first place in the Asia Summer Championship against NEW Esports, Geek Fam, and 496 Gaming. They also placed 4th in the BTS Pro Series Season 2: SEA, after beating TNC Predator, but falling 0-2 versus Fnatic. Neon Esports was already able to close out the first day of the qualifier up 2-0 in series.

The Vietnamese team 496 Gaming are quite capable of qualifying through this qualifier, but it mostly depends on Execration's ability to keep their roster from changing once again, as they had dropped out of their most recent showing due to roster changes. There is also potential to come out of CR, with a talented roster, but it largely depends on whether they are able to work together as a group, instead of playing as talented individuals.
