As of July 1, 2020, OG will be releasing their sister roster OG.Seed due to complication with their ability to participate in tournaments along side one another. It was annoucned earlier by ESL that they would not permit OG.Seed to participate in the open qualifiers after already inviting OG to the main event. Since then, several tournament organizers have joined the fight against conflict of interest, posing the same ruling on VP and VP.Prodigy.

Along with the announcement, it was said that the team plans on sticking together as they look for an organization to support them. Unfortunately with more organizations leaving the scene, and the value of a sponsor in the online world is not worth as much as those going to LANs, it will be difficult for any organization to jump into Dota, until Valve reestablishes the DPC.
