This game format is designed for 3 competitors and 1 host to queue in Survive with Friends in Dead by Daylight, against a randomly matched Killer.
The length and number of rounds is specific to every competition, and thus will be indicated. A competitor will have a set number of lives every round, losing a life for every match they do not survive. When the competitor has zero lives, they will no longer be able to earn points towards their score. If another competitor is in queue, the competitor with zero lives must reenter the queue if they would like to play again. Players with lives will always take priority in queue over those who do not have live. Lives will reset every round. A competitor's score is accumulated over all the rounds. The winner is the competitor with the most points. Competitors are scored individually.
All perks and items are allowed. Competitors must be in a discord voice chat with the host during the match.
Point System
Playing as a Survivor, competitors can earn 100 points every match that they survive, and an additional 100 points if they escaped by using the hatch. Challenges may be available all competition long, or only during specific rounds. There are also Hidden Challenges revealed at the end of every competition/season. Completing a challenge can earn a competitor 100 to 500 points extra. All specific details to the criteria for completion of a challenge will be indicated on the competition page itself.Season 3 Challenges:
- Escape Artist – Bring a key and have all 4 survivors escape via the hatch
- Unhookable – Unhook 4 players in a game without getting hooked yourself
- Pallet Man – Knock 3 survivors off the shoulder of a killer in a season
- Hatch Hunter – Without dying, escape using the hatch three times in a row
- Untouchable – Survive 3 games without getting hit
- I’ll Do it Myself - Unhook yourself, open a gate or find a hatch and escape
