MARCH 31 ROSTER CHANGES - DOTA 2
2020-03-31      By: DJWilma

To start out the day before the jokes of April 1st plagued the news feeds of esports journalists across the globe, Alliance announced what everyone could only hope was a joke. They had removed both 33 their offlaner and Fata their captain from the roster. They insinuated that this change was made due to the immediate future being focused on online events. Though the fate of TI 10 is still undecided, Alliance stated that they had all but secured a spot at the 10th edition of the International, as to why they made this change mid season. Many have speculated that the team wants to go back to their roots and secure a full Swedish roster, and that Era might be a prime candidate having left Godsent.gg.

Fata and 33 see the boot

It didn't take long for OG to seize this opportunity and take 33 to replace the currently SEA stranded Topson. Topson is currently unable to travel due to visiting his girlfriend after the LA Major was canceled. They also announced the return of CEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEB to the offlane with MidOne also restricted from travelling due to global political situation. This clearly means that OG is in high contention to either fail out horribly in the upcoming ESL Los Angeles Online Tournament or win it all.

33 and Ceb Stand-in for OG while their other member are trapped in SEA

The CIS region didn't want to be overshadowed by Europe for the upcoming ESL event. Thus Team Spirit benched iLTW, who had been seen performing much better under the management of SsaSpartan as an Aggressive Mode substitute, and nongrata who was last seen successful under Dendi was released from the team. Team Spirit, unlike Alliance, figured their social media manager would have a better time doing all the work in one post. Informing the public that their replacements consist of a globally unknown player DyrachYO, and AfterLife who last saw success under Rodjer with Winstrike Team before they were let go for a team that could qualify for a DPC closed qualifier.

iLTW and nongrata won't play under Team Spirit no more

TIMS shocked many journalist and for a brief second the contributors of Liquipedia with an announcement that he would be leaving TNC Predator due to personal reasons. Until everyone realized that SEA was the first region to hit April 1st. TNC Predator even rubbed in the joke more by saying he would be departing "for good". Good memes.

On the serious front of SEA, it looks like Flysolo was able to put a new roster together outside of the sketchy dealing of Lowkey Esports, recruiting former teammates Yowe, JG, Shanks, and Tino who all played under the Ex-Lowkey name to win the Thailand Celestial Cup S2. The only change is in their name, now going under the title of GoodFellaz.

Finally, Team Oracle, the team that QO led as CEO, departs with their position 1 Ghost. He is replaced on a temporary basis with their very own CEO, QO.
