Gustav "s4" Magnusson has been announced as the replacement for Neta "33" Shapira in the offlane for Alliance. This announcement comes only a day after the team released both 33, and their captain Adrian "Fata" Trinks.
Alliance sited how this would be best going forward to accommodate the expected online tournaments for the near future, and to better prepare of the 10th iteration of the International. Alliance said that now that the International has come back to home turf, and that they have all but qualified for the event, that this change would be best for the team.
Many question the decision, stating the performance of other players seemed to have more weight in the lack luster results as of recent, but both co-owners of Alliance were able to win the International 3 with s4, thus they continue to put their faith in him.
S4 to Alliance
We will see how this new Alliance roster performs at the upcoming ESL One Los Angeles Online Tournament, where their debut performance will be up against the newly put together NiP roster.
