TNC Predator must qualify for the ESL One Los Angeles Major via winning the Starladder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 3.
TNC Predator won the first Major of the DPC 19-20 season, the MDL Chengdu Major, securing 4850 DPC points. Notably this was before the release to an update many have paralleled to the “Dota 3” release. In the second Major, the DreamLeague Season 14, TNC Predator showed a rocky performance during the group stages. Then were able to prevail over their follow SEA region teams Fnatic and Reality Rift to secure a 7th-8th spot after losing to Team Liquid. With an additional 450 points, TNC Predator has all but guaranteed a ticket to Stockholm, Sweden for TI10.
This means TNC Predator will be the first gatekeeper to any of the Group B casualties from the EU qualifiers. Adding whichever Chinese powerhouse team also makes it to the third Minor of the season, is shaping the competition of this Minor to be quite eventfully high caliber.
As it currently stands, TNC Predator leads the pack of the more comfortable teams in terms of point lead, followed by three other top teams of their region, Vici Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and Team Secret. Though not sleeping as softly as the just mentioned, Invictus Gaming, Alliance, and Team Liquid are highly likely to maintain their spot in TI10.
