[0-1 Cloud9 vs Trust Gaming] “ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Southeast Asia Open Qualifier” February 8, 2020 - 10:30 CET

Cloud9 - pieliedie

The gravity of the situation most impacted those within the European, Chinese, and South East Asian regions. The first notable victims to fall to the events that unfolded over the next few days occurred February 8th, 2020 with a well-known organization showing their face again to the scene.

  1. Rolen Andrei Gabriel "skem" Ong
  2. Cheng "vtFαded" Jia Hao
  3. Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen
  4. Francis "FLee" Lee
  5. Johan "pieliedie" Åström

Cloud9 couldn’t expect the brutality the open qualifiers would bring. Led by veterans MISERY and pieliedie, the roster took a shot at the open qualifiers in the SEA region. After getting to a good start, it would turn out they couldn't make it past the best of 1s, which plagued so many before. This goes to represent the difficulty new stacks have at even reaching the next stage of the qualifiers, something not seen in many regions before. We remember them and hope to see them stick around and grow as a roster together.
