Everyone had been quite surprised by TNC’s inability to take a spot for the Los Angeles Major during the closed qualifier, being the team with the most DPC points thus far in the season. Mathematically it is either near impossible for TNC to lose their seat at TI10. Effectively the team could take the rest of the season off, and we would need teams who haven’t won a major before to step up to the to offer any viability for their spot.

With TNC not looking very TNC like, with some exemplary games lacking from their performance, they found themselves in the lower bracket after the first round of the Minor qualifier. After eliminating IO Dota2, the same team that pushed them out of contention for the Major spot, TNC fell victim to Reality Rift in the lower bracket finals. Though I can all but guarantee we will see TNC at the International, but until the next qualifiers, these guys will have to some time off.
